Freaking Out!!!

Freaking Out!!!

OK, so I admit that it's been a while since I have posted. I stopped posting when I had finished most of my big tasks. Even though I planned way in advance, in the final months I feel like there are a million things to do.

Yesterday, FI and I went to After Hours in Roosevelt Field. We need a national store because the wedding party lives in all parts of the country, but I couldn't sleep last night because I am so nervous about this. My FI was not allowed to try on a full tuxedo and won't be able to pick up his tux until 2 days before the wedding. I have heard horror stories about tuxedo shops. They order the wrong item or measure incorrectly. If they mess up, can they fix their mistake in such a short period of time?

Please help me! I don't want to be up all night again worrying about this.

You don't need to go to a chain store for the tuxes. Most of our GM lived OOT and we used a local tuxedo store. The guys went to a tuxedo place where they live, got measured and then called in their measurements to the store we were using here. If you are so worried then don't use after hours, you can go anywhere.

Yeah, that is a myth.

We used Men's Wearhouse though (didn't know about said myth til later) but I think it is pretty normal that you don't pick up the tux til 2 days before, usually they are fairly accomendating because of that. We had a melodrama with a vest and they got my dad another one from another store ASAP.

I totally understand that there may be mistakes made. So long as the mistake can be corrected in time, it's fine.

Thanks for sharing your story. It's good to know that they can fix mistakes in a short time
