So I went to try on my gown that I have been waiting since last June for and they ordered me the wrong size!!! It is literally 2 sizes to small. They at first tried to put the blame on me saying that they suggested I get the bigger size when in fact I chose the size they told me to get. The owner remeasured me last night and then admitted it was her mistake. They now have to try and order extra material and beadwork and basically remake the entire top..My wedding is in 3 months..no time for a new dress! I have been hysterical since last night! I am trying not to stress and to stay positive but I am so upset! Sorry guys...just needed to vent!

Wow, I don't know what to say. At least they are willing to admit their mistake and work with you. I am sure they will be able to fix your dress so it fits.

Sweetie, everything is going to work out. They are pros.
Would you be willing to wear a different dress (just trying to think of options)...they must have new Spring 2009 samples that came in and are closer to your size....maybe you can have one?

Hi, I know I have only posted once or twice on here but I had the same situation with my dress, the person running the trunk show made a mistake. They were able to order me a new one and I got it in five weeks. I know your wedding is close but they may be able to do that. They should since it was their mistake. Hang in there...

i'm sorry! can they rush order one in your size? if i were you i might pressure them to get you your dress in your size! if nothing else, i agree with the other girls... i'm sure they can do a lot to make it your size with the extras they are ordering... this isn't the first time this has happened. they are professionals (even if they can't order a dress in the right size i'm sorry this happened for you but just vent and then tell yourself it'll all be okay. you're going to be beautiful!

Try not to worry though (hard to do Im sure)... they realized it was their fault so they will make it better to cover their a$$es!! Your dress will be as perfect as it shouldve been love!

**UPDATE** The bridal store just called me and they have ordered me a whole new dress and it will be rushed and will be in no later then April 25th..I feel a lot better now. Hopefully nothing will go wrong with the new dress as it is due in only 3 weeks before the wedding! The owner promised me it will all be fine and she has been really nice about everything so we will see..Wish me luck girls! and thanks for all the advice as well...

Yea i was going to say they should just do a rush order for a new dress. You can get dresses with in a few months as long as its in 'stock' - glad things worked out!!!
