What happens if you are under your minimum? We had a big guest list and thought we would have no problem making our 120 min., however, it turns out that my fam that lives in canada are all taking a huge vacation together and that is 40 people and we also have other's who are not coming and now we might only end up with 100 if that. I just want to cry that so many people are not able to make it. What am I going to do? My RSVP date is July 18th, but than is that too late to send out B list invites, and what do I do for their RSVP cards that say the 18th on it? I just want to cry

Re: Freaking Out!!
i would invite the B list . if you cant change the rsvp date i would make a plain invitation on the computer , michaels has pretty ones or vista print if you dont want to do that then i would def talk with rh and see if they can throw in extras

Re: Freaking Out!!
unfortunately, you will be responsible for 120 people. but, i agree that you should invite B listers, and DEF create a new invitation with a new RSVP date on it so people don't get offended

I say if you KNOW 40 people arent coming, start sending out B list right now.

Re: Freaking Out!!
first off..that really stinks and im sorry
second..def make a b list and send out a pin invite asap..also ask anyone who maybe u told could not bring a guest,be allowed to bring oe now
also maybe u could pull the old routine of handing some out to peope or co-workers and say i lost ur address or my computer messed up the calligraphy etc etc....if u do it soon i dont think people would be offended

Re: Freaking Out!!
You can print new RSVP cards and put them with your invites. I saw nice plain cards at Michaels's last week. Send out the B list and see what happends. Many times if you are under the min. the RH will throw in some extras.

Re: Freaking Out!!
Honestly. . I think a lot of people aren't offended by being invted late. . I invited some newer friends, or friends that were more removed and told them they were the b-list (obviously much nicer) and no one was offended. . they all knew that I was worried about money so was keeping the guest list small so I framed it as ' I am so excited I get to invite you now. hope you won't take it the wrong way' I even invited one friend the night before and invited him last last minute and he was sooooo excited that I asked him. (I had had THREE cancellations two days earlier )

I don't know what to tell you. I am in the same boat. I invited 291 people and it looks like I will be under my 235 minimum by a bit.
