Freaking out.....

Freaking out.....

I ordered my gown in September and just found out that it has been discontinued as of Friday. The place where I ordered it didn't know anything about it being discontinued and is going to call the designer on Monday to make sure I will still get it.

Has this happened to anyone else? If they discontinue a dress after you order it, will the designer honor your order??

im not sure but that id be surprised if they didnt at least give you credit with that designer towards a diff dress!

I would think if they were able to place the order it would still be on its way.

I would just keep calling the place you ordered it from every day. And ask for the names of who you speak to.

i dont understand why the place wouldnt have put the order in with the designer when you made the order with them... this is totally on that salon... it would be RIDICULOUS if they make you get a new dress!!! id be furious!!!

They actually did place the order with the manufacturer when I put down the deposit... so they think it will be ok... but they had to put my order on hold bc I changed my mind on size so the order was on hold when it go discontinued. So upset/stressed today :(

my bm dresses were discontinued, the bridal shop gets word and if they place orderes before that date the dress will get made. Check with the bridal salon or designer to make sure they operate that way

As long as the dress was ordered before the discontinue date then it should be fine....

ITA. I think you should be safe since your order was placed before it was discontinued but def double check!

my dress was discontinued and i ordered it after the fact. i still got it and all was fine.

im sorry. I think the mon cheri i wanted is discontinued now as well. it disappeared from the website. i hadnt ordered it yet so i might just be out of lucky.
