thats ok- its a cake topper. if it doesnt end up coming in time, maybe you can get a refund after your wedding. y dont you go to wrap with us and get something else just in case, or ask the florist to decorate with flowers?

I understand your frustration, that is upsetting - but it is easily fixable. Ask your florist to decorate the top with flowers and when your other cake topper comes in, you can still use it as a keepsake or return it. Dont let it stress you out or ruin your day!

I think my florist is going to set up a cot for me and/or FH considering all of the time we've been there lately. LOL We have this lame little heart that will sink into the cake. We found the cutest NASCAR themed one and since all the checkered flags I ordered came in today, the whole theme will be busted if we don't have that cake topper.

Oh no!!! Why not set up the checkered flags and put some toy cars on top (like matchbox cars) if you really want a Nascar feel. I am sure it is nothing as great as your original but it will still serve as a Nascar themed topper...

Kim... you can call FedEx/UPS and go there in the morning to pick it up - or see if they can designate someone else to pick it up. You would have to ask them to take it off the truck, leave it in their Maspeth facility and then someone would have to go there with ID to pick it up. If you're gonna be getting ready tomorrow morning, you could ask them what would be required for someone else to pick it up, i.e. a notarized letter or something. I have told them to hold packages at the facility so I would be sure to get it in time... worth a shot, just call their 800#!! Good luck
ETA: You would have to call ASAP, since it will be on the truck early tomorrow morning and then you can't get it back.
