Although I still have 2 weeks to my RSVP date, I am looking at my list and I still have not received 34 responses. Of that number, I do have 18 verbal responses so I really have 16 unknown. Looking at the unknown list, I'll be lucky if 4 of them are yes's. I'm starting to wonder if I'm even going to make my minimum head count. And that's WITH the vendors.
I'm starting to panic.

don't panic!! it will work out ok..you just have to wait for the date-i'm 3 days away and still missing a bunch!!

Don't panic! A lot of reponses come late and you will likely have some people after the date. People aren't awesome at responding no matter how easy we make it. My RSVP date is next Tues and I'm still missing 64. It's annoying, but if you have to make some calls it's not the worst thing. And for the minimum, hopefully you can work something out with your RH so they can add some items for you to make up for missing plates. It'll all be ok!

My RSVP date was today...I was still missing 66 and I got one in the mail today. I am not so much freaking out, but pissed because people are so inconsiderate sometimes!! Ugh!

I didn't make my minimum. I'm short seven. It happens! Don't worry about it, it just means you pay for seven people who aren't there. Annoying, yes, but def not an expense you didn't already budget for. It's better than going over!

Dont freak out. As the ladies said, most come in at the tail end. If you dont make your minimum invite people with a guest if they were originally a single guest.You could also ask the venue to pack up the extra food to take home or throw something extra in.

Right there with ya. My RSVP date is still 2 weeks away but i have a lot out there as well... I know most of the outstanding are coming but how hard is it to mail back a lil card that has a stamp on it! lol

Don't worry about it. I was way under my minimum. You can always ask your RH if they will give you something to make up the price or ask for seatfillers here.

Dont worry too much is it too late for you to start inviting the B list ppl? if so, if you are under your minimum although you must pay for that x amount of ppl the hall will throw in something or should since you were under. so if your minimum is 100 but you have 90 that 10 ppl x the amount pp they should put towards something else in your wedding. i know a lot of halls that do this so you arent wasting money. and they obviously arent feeding those empty seats
