Freaking Out

Anyone totally FREAK OUT when they look at how much money they're going to owe in cash the week of the wedding?! AHHH FH and I looked at our budget and balance owed last night and now I'm totally bugging out!

We made payments throughout our engagement so we dont have any large bills this week. It worked out much better that way. Much less stress.

I don't owe much more to the hall but its all the other vendors that will basically wipe out our bank account that is freaking me out! Weddings are super expensive and living on Long Island is more expensive. I freak out thinking how I am going to afford a home????

this is what i am doing as well. i do NOT want to deal with huge payments the week of my wedding - going to be stressed enough as is!

Freaking Out - Long Island Weddings

This has become the huge dark cloud over what should be a happy time. I am always in a state of panic about the money part of it. I am so fortunate that I was able to finally land the job of my dreams and I can finally contribute to the wedding fund...but the trouble is just about my entire pay check will have to go to the wedding until the big day.

just so difficult... pay for a wedding and try to find somewhere to live all at the same time! Very stressful with all this money talk!

I am totally freaking out too!! Why are things so expensive here? This gives me the most anxiety about the wedding planning. The only thing I can do is try and save the most we can!

That's so funny! I just sat down with my budget today and had a mini stroke as well :) To help, FH and I decided to give each other very small Christmas gifts to each other and we're not doing wedding presents.

Agreed!!! You can plan and pre-pay lots of things, but some vendors get paid day of (I am not forking over 5k to the band, or paying the cigar roller or judge before then...what is there's a problem?) Then take into account all the last minute stuff- I have so much stuff to order this week! AND we're def going way over our minimum. So, the venue is completely paid for the minimum.....but not for the 40-50 extras we'll have!
