Okay I am starting to freak out a little bit! My wedding is June 22 2012 and I only have my RH booked and our band booked.... Am i really far behind??? I think my next thing I will try and work on is my photographer and video. Has anyone used DUET for Video and do you have an example clip??:

I feel really behind too. I dont have a photographer or videographer either. A friend of a friend used Duet for photo and loved them. I dont think she used them for video tho.

You girls are not far behind at all!!! However, I think this is a constant feeling you will have. I feel this way all the time and I have MOST of my wedding set up ( I dont have hair and make up, need to set up engagement photos).
Just go with the flow. You will be fine.

I'll say, we only started planning our June wedding last September.
Most of my first choices on things were booked for my date by the time I contacted them in September. Photo and video book fast, so I would get on that

Don't know about Duet, but don't worry, you have plenty of time. We got engaged in December and planned our wedding for October - exactly 10 months. That's the amount of time you have now. Don't stress about it (there will be plenty of other things to stress about in the next 10 months )

Your not behind, dont worry!!!!
I used duet for both photo and video- I don't think you can use them for just video. They were amazing, like little photo ninjas. They took so many photos, and yet I barely remember them there

the only thing i have booked in my RH. I am getting married june 9, 2012. I have appointments with photo/video this week and hope to book ASAP. I also feel like i am behind but i cant do everything at once.

so many of our friends have used Duet, and they were actually our first pic. but they dont work on sundays.

Some of the girls on here plan everything crazy early so it can be overwhelming at times. Don't worry though, you have plenty of time!!

i think duet also has a partner company, i wanna say dream, that also does amazing stuff...my friend wanted duet, they were not available and set her up with their sister company and i haven't seen her wedding stuff yet, but her engagement photos were amazinggg

I'm using duet and my cousin used duet in 08...she has only positive to say about them...she said her video was amazing...when u go to duet they also show you an example of a video..and it almost made me cry...it was beautiful..good luck

ITA... if you want someone specific, I would try to book ASAP. People think I'm nuts sometimes booking all of my vendors now (which does make me kinda panic because with this economy places could go out of business) but I know that I will have the vendors that I want and not disappoint myself if they're booked.
With that said, I have found so many amazing photo and video people from this site, so I will definitely make sure I look at tons before making any decisions. Good luck!
