I planned on getting my invitations from www.indianweddinginvitations.com. THey are in india but they have beautiful invitations. I have been emailing back and forth with them for months. They sent me a sample and I loved it! Now I am ready to order them and have been confirming everything (color, font, etc) I email and they get back to me by the next morning. The problem is that I emailed and have not heard from them in a week! I don't know what to do! I emailed again 3 days ago and still no response. SHould I look for another place? Has anyone dealt with them? My whole decor is based around these invitations

I would be wondering about them too at this point. Do they have a phone number? It's possible that they're having computer problems. (Might as well give them the benefit of the doubt, since they were helpful and prompt in responding to your other e-mails.)

Yes, they have a phone number. But i'd have to call on Indian time (no idea what that is!)

Possibly you could take the sample to one of the vendors on the board who make invitations and they could come close to duplicating it??
I'd be worried about ordering from a company that does not return calls/e-mails

you have plenty of time...
keep trying to get in touch but have a backup plan as well. here you can churn out invitations in a matter of weeks.

Could they be on vacation or something? I would definatly try to call. Try this site...it has all the world's time zones...so you can see when to call.
This is getting worse! I just emailed them again and it came back to me that it failed! My FH (who works with computers) said that maybe they cahnged their email but I have a bad feeling...

Go with your gut. How much time do you have? I'd also check with some of the vendors on the board that make custom invites. Rebecca from Favorite Things Invitations was great to work with (mine weren't custom though).

Their mailbox could be full.
Since they have been so responsive in the past I would wait a week or two and see if you hear from them and what kind of explanation they have. If you are still uncomfortable, you have plenty of time to work something out with another vendor.
