So I booked a girl from MAC to do my makeup. I had emailed her like 2 months ago to let her know that I had forwarded her info to someone that I recommended her to. She never responded. I emailed her on Sunday morning to confirm for my wedding for next Friday and she never responded. What should I do? My gut is telling me to get another makeup person from MAC to do my makeup because I think this speaks to her professionalism. What do you think?

I would send her an email letting her know that you have no choice but to book someone else due to her unprofessional lack of response.

Was email your main mode of communication. What about trying to call her?

I agree, if she stills doesn't answer or get back to you, I would get someone else. Since your wedding is a week away, her not confirming with you is not good

That does totally suck, but it doesn't seem like you have too much of an option. Sorry to hear this!

Wow, I'd be worried. If you need someone else, FM me and you can see if my girl is available for your day. Good luck!

Re: Freaking Out Advice Please!
Ok So UPDATE!!! I called the MAC store she worked at and complained to the manager that was really helpful. He apologized over and over again and set me up with his best artist for a huge discount and is giving me free makeup. I feel validated but I would really warn people that if they do use freelance people to make sure you touch base with them from time to time like you would any other vendor to make sure everything is still good. Apparently this girl said she was just going to call me at the end of the week. I do not feel comfortable waiting until a few days before my wedding ot know if I have a makeup artist or not.
