I called my gyno this morning and said I am experiencing a weird pain and that I wanted to come in this week to be seen. They basically said NO and then when I persisted they said they'd call me back. No call back after 5 hours, so I just called back and again same thing - they'll call me back. She was basically trying to diagnose me over the phone it seemed. WHAT THE FUCKK I WANT TO COME IN AND BE SEEN. I'm not a new patient and I do not understand what is going on.
Guess it's time for a new doctor...can anyone recommend their gyn in or around Huntington (I'm willing to travel).

Three Village Women.
I go to the Patchogue office but there is an office Setauket.
I see Dr. Spicer -- she only doest GYN so she is much easier to get an appointment with but anyone in the practice will see you even the NP -- who is very nice.

Comprehensive OB/GYN in West Islip. I know it's not in Huntington but there are several doctors in the practice and they can usually see you asap. I see Dr. Ketcham and love him. HTH

They have a woman and some men. If you're pregnant, they have you see all of the dr.'s at least once so if you go into some sort of emergency you are seen by someone that has seen you before and that you know and feel comfortable with.
