I was wondering if anyone has used Frederick Studios in Smithtown. They are the house photographer where I will be having my reception, but I have not heard anything about them.
i'm a thatched cottage bride too and we booked fred! he is just about the most super guy we have met and is the sweetest vendor!!! i got the best feeling from him. my fiance knew him from years ago and wanted to use him even before we booked the hall. he went to school for photography, so i trust his eye on something like this, and when we met with fred, i knew he was right. he is very traditional in his style, i guess, but he also does the photojournalistic style that is popular now.
My cousin used him for her wedding a few years ago and she was very happy with him. I was a BM in her wedding and he sooo nice and great to work with.
we are using him and we too feel he is such a nice guy. I liked the way we spoke to him about our day and not a receptionist. I really liked that. I saw a lot of his work at the Vanderbilt Mansion when I went to book our day there and the women also said he was great so I dont think we have anything to worry about.
