Also looking for a corset. Have you found out anything stef? I have the renaissance (in black) but its got straps and i need strapless, but i am not really thrilled with it to begin with.
I am a 38d so I really want to make sure that what ever i buy will be good.
Keep me posted as to what you find and I'll do the same for you.
What about the Victoria's Secret ones?

Re: Fredericks Dream Corset?
I am a 36D so we are in the same boat. The Dream Corset was a surprising find for me since it doesn't have cup - I though I would totally need those. But the cup corsets give me a 'shelf' effect b/c the cups are too low for my body.
The Dream corset does an amazing waist whittling job and creates great clevage. It is not at all uncomfortable (at least from the 15 minutes I had it on).
Im 90% sure Im going to get that.
Personally, I find VS to be made for girls with perfect bodies. Ive yet to find any of their bustiers things to be effective - although they do look great on Tyra Banks!

Where did you try it?
I think I remember one in broadway mall in hicksville, but they didn't have much there. I would like to try it first rather than ordering it online and having to go through the trouble of returning it.
Also, have you checked out www.solbride.com? I learned of them from Kleinfeld. Their stuff doesn't look at nice as frederick's, and its more expensive, but it is supposed to be very comfortable. If the fredericks and VS ones don't work for me, i will try them.

Re: Where did you try it?
I tried it on at the Broadway mall yesterday. They have the Ultimate Satin and the Dream Corset there (and a few others but those had straps so I didn't look).
Ive seen a lot of online stores but I like to order online without trying on first.

Re: Fredericks Dream Corset?
I got my corset from macy's bridal. It is expensive but awesome, as far as comfort, fit, ect. Worth it not to have to worry about it. They have black, white, cream, and they are the only place that carries it.
