Free book

I am pretty sure I got this from someone on here--but mine arrived and it is def worth it so I figured I would pass along

If you haven't done so already, go to the State Farm web site. They have a Free Mayo Clinic pregnancy book that they'll send to you. You don't have to be a State Farm user. Book is hard covered and very nice -- mine arrived yesterday. http://www.statefarm.com/lifevents/baby.htm

I got mine for free last year, and it's totally worth it, it's a huge, thickm hard cover book. It's a guide to pregnancy AND baby's 1st year. I was so amazed at how big it is, and I think the retail price is $30.

I have state farm insurance and they sent me one but they also have one for getting married that I just received and it is great. You should try and get that one if you are not married yet.

Unless you all are really, really drawn to the 'free' aspect here, I would *highly* recommend a book by the publishers of Parenting Magazine, which is called A Parent's Guide to the Baby's First Year. It has helped me on more than 3 occasions! LOL!

I'll order one too ... hey, I'll keep it on the bookshelf for a couple of years. I don't think that info gets 'dated' and who knows if the offer will still be around in a couple of years.

Thanks Claud ... I'll keep that on my 'radar' screen. My brother use to work with Parents and brought home 'free' stuff. To bad I didn't know about it then!
