Someone I work with just emailed me about these guys so cute! FM me if you are interested
Here is the story:
Look at these babies... They were dumped.
My husband found these 5 lab pups in our neighborhood this morning on his way to work. Apparently, someone dumped them. We think they are 6 -8 weeks old. Attached are a few pictures. Really need to find a home we are leaving to go out of town on Saturday. Just let me know if anyone is interested.
I hate these threads (No offense Nic). They make me so sad. Wish I could do something. They are so cute!!! Thank god your co-worker took them in.

Re: free lab puppies
this is so sad, my FH would take one of them in a heartbeat if he wasn't allergic! Try posting on the LIF pets board, the girls on that board are very sympathetic towards abandoned animals. If you don't have an account and would like to post let me know and I'll post the link.

Wow that is awful. Do you know about where they were dumped? Tell them if they cant find homes by the time they leave to try calling the SPCA. Maybe they will be able to find a rescue to take them in. Or maybe they will open an investigation.

i always feel the same way i hate the whole no pets policy in my building. I used to take in stray pets when i was younger. Unfortunately cant now bc of no pets policy plus dh is allergic to ALL cats and some dogs.
They are so adorable i just showed Dh and he was like 'we cant have them' which is true but still wish i could have pets

Re: free lab puppies
what about the seeing eye dog foundation? My FFIL has done this and it's a fantastic service. I don't know if they accept puppies but I do know that it's Labs they train. Just another option, though I'm sure you'll have no problem finding homes for them, they're adorable.
It upsets me soooo much to hear that they were dumped. If we didn't already have a lab (only 1 year old) I would take one. Also if we had our own house we would prob take one. FH has our lab at his house but his mom takes care of him for us during the day.
I'll ask around if there is anyone looking for a lab puppy.

I volunteer at the Freeport Animal Shelter. If nothing works out, please FM and I can see if there is space for them there.
