A friend of my moms works for Mary Kay and she emailed me about the wedding to let me know that they do 2 free consults and free day of make-up?!?! Any one hear of this?!?! Anyone know anyone that has done this?? Sounds strange that it's free... let me know!!

actually i don't think it's that weird...they really want you to become a mary kay customer for life...i think that's actually a really smart way of promoting.
i'd really like to hear from anyone who has taken advantage and how it came out!!

One of my BM is a Mry Kay Consultant, She already has the pink car... to each thir own, sigh.... She hasn't pushed the makeup on me yet, but feel its coming, I'll ask her about the free thing

I believe its a pink cadillac, but the weird part is she doesnt get to keep it forever... Its a status thing when you've sold so much and recruited so many... IMO its a harmless pink fluffy cult

i was thinking about using my moms mary k lady for my girls makeup so that they dont have to spend a lot to have their makeup done. I am sure they would like you to buy makeup

I already went to my 2 consultations and kind of got roped into buying $60 worth of stuff lol which I do have to say I love but the day of make-up is $50

Ok- I clarified with the Mk woman....
The consult is free-- but I apply the stuff myself- um? How am I going to know what it's going to look like if she's not applying it/!?!?
THen day of is $65 for bride $55 for BM-- there you are. Don't know if I'm going to go for it though.
