I don't know if this is too far east for you. but there is a convent in Watermill, my mother took her wedding photos there.. it's beautiful, right on the water.. PERFECT!!!!!!!!! I'll find the name
i'm for bayard cutting arboretum in oakdale, and it is just the car fee, so you can't beat that price. i'm a northport girl, so yeah, the harbor is always nice, but they are doing sometthing to the dock so before you set a date to do it, go down there and make sure it isn't still under construction. the harbor in setauket/stony brook, is also beautiful! there are two spots-one is near the pond with the gristmill, but becareful of the goose poop. the other is the dock area.
