Hi all, I have been getting a lot of emails about hotels (Specifically Hilton Garden Inn Melville but I know there are others) That offer free shuttle service from the hotel to the RH. It seems to me that this is just to good to be true. Does anyone know what the deal is with this?
Also, I'm getting married in Northport: Anyone know of hotels in the area that will offer this service? Thanks Lauren

I think the Executive Inn in Woodbury does and the Huntington Country Inn might. I have hotel blocks on my to-do list for next week!

with the courtyard marriot in farmingdale they offer a free shuttle if you have 10 rooms booked.

they usually arent free unless you have a certain number of rooms booked. Check out the shuttle too. Some are really small.

hmmm free shuttle from the hilton melville seems odd. i was told there was a $300 (or $200) charge for the shuttle. but maybe they are offering it free if you have a certain number of rooms (i will only be having 4-5 rooms). Def look into it further

From what I've seen (not about that hotel specifically) is that you get free shuttle service but it can be only w a certain # of booked rooms and only for a certain size shuttle, which may not be big enough. They call it 'free' but in reality it's more of a discount at some places since you'll need additional shuttles.

we are booked at the Courtyard Marriot in Farmingdale and the deal with the shuttles is, if you get 10 rooms booked under your block, than the shuttle service is free (15 rooms booked actually gets you and FH and free room for the night which is sweet).
I believe based on your CH start time and recepetion end time and how many guests you have staying at the hotel, they figure out the time schedule for the shuttles.
