Free Vodka Bar

what exactly is this?
im going to something tomorrow...
and its having a free vodka bar.
will they have Cranberry juice?
Do you tip?

(its for my BF's job kinda)

the ones in the city usually have like Free Vodka bar from like 8-10 (to get the crowd in earlier i guess), but its just their way of saying... its not OPEN bar for all drinks (like you had to pay for beer, etc...) but Vodka drinks were free (though, i dont think they were free if it was something that had Other liquors in it as well)...

as far as Tipping.. Yes, definately Tip!! The WORST part of any open bar type of promotion is that Since people dont have to lay out cash for drinks, they dont lay it out for tips either

Ok... but its like a work function.... her job is 'catering' it.. thats why im not sure if you tip or not.
i figured it would be all inclusive

i guess it depends on the scenario, but i if someone's serving you, i would give a tip (that my own personal rule of thumb though)

i've worked in catering (serving), and we got our tips fromt he person running it, BUT the bartenders were always separate, and guests would always give them tips as well

ok ill tip. cant hurt!
(if anything ill get better drinks!)
