Freeze Dried Rose petals

Anybody has used or will be using freeze dried rose petals? I was thinking of using these instead of fresh ones since they are real petals, so I can prepare the petal cones a few days before the wedding and not have to worry about them looking dead for the day of. Also, they are not slippery and they dont stain. What do you think?
