Can anyone tell me the difference between a french bustle and a regular one? And, if anyone has any pictures, could you please post? Thanks!

I am doing a french bustle on my dress. From what I know there are strings under your dress that have to be tied and it kinda makes layers. I wish I had taken a picture at my last fitting b/c my MOH had to learn how to bustle.

A French Bustle is hooked from underneath, so that the bustled fabric lays on the outside.
