French Polynesia honeymooners - quick question

How much sunblock do I ***really*** need to bring for me and FH?? I think I bought too much! (and it adds up quickly!)

I have 3 bottles of 30spf (2 are the continuous spray bottles, don't know if those waste quicker)

2 bottles of 45 spf (but I DO want to get a tan so should I change for 30 spf?)

And I think I have one or two other bottles but don't remember exactly. I also bought a bottle of aloe aftersun lotion and some aloe with lidocaine gel/lotion in case we accidentally burn.

Too much??? I was thinking to return some. I know sunblock is SUPER expensive in Tahiti/Moorea/Bora Bora, but do I really need this much? I do not need sunblock for this summer (no time for beach/pool ). Thanks ladies!!

OK, let me start by telling you our skin types. I
have Irish Skin that will burn then tan. My husband has skin that tans fairly easily.

we brought 5 bottles of sunscreen with us:
2 bottles of SPF30
2 bottles of SPF45
and 1 bottle of SPF65 (We used this on our faces)

We finished the two bottles of SPF45 and we had to use some of the SPF30 because we ran out .

We made sure that we re-applied and we never burned. We were both very dark when we got home and never once did we peel.

I can not tell you how many couples we saw that were so sunburned. We felt bad for them. W

Who wants to be sunburned on their Honeymoon?

oh, don't forget your bug spray!
