I went to see a florist today and she quoted me over 8,000 dollars! I think the reason was because she figured french tulips in my centerpieces. Does anyone know if they are really that expensive?

I LOVE French tulips and wanted them myself BUT if I were to guess I would think the exorbitant fee for them was because they are only in season from January til at the very latest Easter! Stinky! I love them too! I asked a bunch a florists to do them for me and that is what they all told me.

Jack and Rose, LaBlossom, and Flower Michelle all quoted me $250 so contact them.. Actually I think LaBlossom, and Jack and Rose were a little cheaper..
***ETA*** I can't imagine spending $600 on a CP, they are flowers, they are going to die, in 2 days, They are beautiful, but COME ON!! $600 x 18 Holy crap, that's 10,800 on FLOWERS.. Maybe if I were j-lo or something.. lol..

Wow! $8000 - how many centerpeices are you getting? Will they be only french tulips in them? They are beautiful! My friend had them in her bouquet in July - she used Verbena Designs- and they looked fantastic but they were out of season and had to be imported from Holland I think! What about mixing them with other flowers that are in season that you like? I hope you get what you want!

Yes those are the famous tulips that everyone loves.
I also asked and was quoted for those exact flowers, don't recall what they said. I went with a cheaper look.
I love French Tulips but do believe they are expensive . Someone on here said they were $95 but I do believe $200 is more like it. Maybe even more but boy they are elegant.

actually ...all kinds are flowers are the same at BURTON'S!!!! They don't charge by the flower even french tulips and stefanotis (sp?)
