So FH has been working 2 jobs all summer and so we have barley done anything or gone anywhere and I spend limited time with him. He really is sacrificing a lot.
So to not spend money we have not gone on a summer getaway, even though I am home for the summer I haven't really gone out....and my bday is coming up and I decided not really do much to save money.
So my question is while you are planning, or while you were planning....what were some of the things that you and/or FH had/have to sacrifice to make the wedding happen?

Something that is soooo needed. We always try to go on a few a year...went on like 2 or 3 last summer..and nada this year! Everyone keeps saying oh you'll have your HM...but we aren't taking that until 2 months after our wedding...

My weekends! Commuting into the city for work everyday and taking care of the house leaves very little time to plan a wedding in less than 6 months. Not to mention I've done a lot of DIY stuff. FH also works Sat night to Sun morning so he is sleeping for most of the weekends. I am looking forward to no more wedding planning and having my weekends be free again!

honestly we've just cut back here and there on going out as much but we still enjoy ourselves and have a good time. the way we look at it is, life would be way to dull,long and boring if we never got to have a little fun becuase we we're watching our wallets the whole time.
you could always make more money, diet tomorrow, and exercise more than next day but you cant get back those nights you missed out on because you were too focused on being good i dunno thats just my mentality.

I totally agree!! But wedding only happens once..so we figure gotta sacrifice now to make it happen. lol
