if it were up to me we'd be getting married at the RH but FH really wanted a church (and has caused a whole other issue!)
Right now the plan is to start the church at 4 and cocktail hour at 6, but that is still not definite yet.

Re: Friday Night Brides...
Church is at 3:30PM. Cocktail hour starts at 7pm. That way we have time to take pics in between and can actually eat some of the food at our cocktail hour.

Re: Friday Night Brides...
church ceremony is at 430 and the CH starts at 7pm.
We are getting married in church and since all of co-workers will have the day off, I think we might have a 1:30 church on Friday Jan 2

Re: Friday Night Brides...
My church is about an hour or a bit more away from my RH and I was really hoping to have people from work (teachers) be able to come ....
So my theorical plan is: 3:30 or 4 Ceremony 7-8:30 CH (my hall does an extra 1/2 hr) 8:30-12:30 Reception
Again, my theory is , people can leave straight from work or get off an hour early or so, then have time to go home and change and relax a bit and can still make it out there.
what do you ladies think??

Re: Friday Night Brides...
We are getting married at a church at 4:30 and the cocktail hour starts at 7 pm. I am trying to get them to push up the church to 4pm but they said it might be a problem for the musician. But we will see, My church and reception hall are about 40 minutes away from each other and I am DETERMINED to take pics and make it to my own cocktail hour... Not sure if its possible though lol
