It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray for making it through the week!!!!! While most of our friends and relatives and co-workers have been wishing for the weekend, us Brides-to-Be may be stressing about all we have to get done in the next few days... which leads me to today's question:
Is there any part of the wedding planning you really wish you didn't have tod o because it's just too stressful or annoying?
Not to say that whatever element you choose woudln't get done, but just asking what you wish you could have delegated to someone else, or just magically was done to perfection for you...
I'm going to go shower and head to work while I think about my to-do list so I can answer too.

well a lot of the things I didn't want to do FH did for me!!!!!! or for us. . he has been super great!
I think for me its trying to figure out all the detailed planning, tips, etc for day of .. I wish i had a DOC or someone to do that for me. .

I did not enjoy calling all of the vendors so if I couldn't get a response by email I made FH call.
Overall I think everything has been ok there isn't anything I wouldn't want to do other than tomorrow's engagement party. Initially it was being thrown for us and then we kind of had to take over and in the middle of house renovations it wasn't the best time and took precedence over the wedding and our wedding things which were pushed back which is hard when you're only planning for six months. But it's all almost over.

the only thing i wish i didnt have to do (which I actually have to do today) is call the church organist lady ask her to play for our wedding, and make and apt to meet with her after mass one day to pick out our ceremony music. I get that I have to pick out the music i want, but umm why can't the church just let her know about our wedding! its not like she is going to say no, and us have no music! i think they should just tell her, and we can just fill out a sheet of paper indicating what songs we want!

The entire wedding....lol
I used to like to plan and organize things but the older I got the less I liked that kind of stuff. This wedding planning has just been a headache for me. Nothing major has gone wrong but I just don't enjoy doing it and wish I could have afforded to hire someone to do it for me.

All the little planning such as pre cana, must play lists for the dj and all the little things have been annoying for me.

Um, everything. I really wish I had a DOC or a planner that I could just call up and be like I want this, do it LOL. My problem isn't that I don't know what I want...I know exactly what I want done, just that FH gives me extreme grief on getting it done in the timeframe I feel more comfortable in. So I would love to have been able to completely take him out of the equation so all he would have to do is show up.
If I had to pick just one thing, I think the HM has given me the most stress.

This is a tough one (and I asked it!!) since I'm enjoying most of the process, but also feel like a lot of you -- I wish I could just show up and enjoy the day without worrying that people will have a good time.
I think the song lists are stressing me most at the moment (not much, but a little). I also wish I could figure out a way to get everyone from the airport to the hotel without it taking too much time or money!
What a pain... hopefully we'll book the RD this weekend. I'm going with my dad tomorrow to check out the Rosewood Inn, which I never even heard of before my hotel suggested it. Hopefully we like it and it's available and it'll just be DONE. lol

I definitely wish i didn't need to try to make 5 different personalities work together (my BMs!!). Everything with them has been a pain in the butt because of 2 of them and it's stressing me out!!!!!!!
