Comparing your relationship now from when you were first dating what has changed, if anything? Do you expect things to change when you get married?

For me what has changed is how comfortable we are together and in tune with what the other person is thinking....its almost scary that we would both be watching or listening to something and we would be thinking the same thing. I dont expect things to change much when we get married since we have been together for over 7 yrs and living together for over a yr. I do think my spending habits will change as now it will be 'our' money and not 'my' money and we hope to buy a house in the next couple of yrs.

It's funny, because really nothing has changed!! And after we're married everything will remain the same too.

I would say if anything progressed, its that we know how the other person would react or respond to something. And that as we've continued to grow closer in our relationship, our personalities have flourished. It's like we bring out the best in each other.

In the very begining of our relationship i was Very Shy and very nervous around my FH! Im like that when i meet and get to know anyone. But as soon as i feel comfortable im free to be my crazy normal self! which he sees all the time now!

Now i can pretty much tell when hes upset without him even say anything, and the same goes for him! we know each other very well and are very comfortable with each other!

as far as things changing i dont think they will change much more, we have been dating for 5 years so if something were going to change i think they would have by now! well maybe when we have kids! but i think it will be a good change!!!

I think we have both gotten a lot more comfortable around each other, and have let our true, winsome personalities shine through. In the beginning I walked on eggshells, FH too, were very polite, didn't say things that we thought might be offensive...now we are no holds barred, offensive (hysterical), feisty, etc. Our fuses are also WAY shorter, in the past we would just kinda deal with each other if we were bothering each other, but now we're just like LISTEN KNOCK IT OFF

I think the relationship will change even further once we're married, because we'll be living together finally, and that will be a huge adjustment I'm sure. Not in a bad way, but definitely different.
