FRIDAY QOTD

Okay so I'm in a really good mood because it's almost LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!!! And what do I like to do most when I'm in a good mood??

DANCE!!!!

So - if you and FH were going to 'rock the reception' - what song would it be to???

(For those who don't know what that means, it's when you play your slow song first and then it breaks into a really fast up-beat song that you surprise yours guests with a fabulous choreographed dance!)

My would be Sean Kingston's 'Fire Burning' because I'm definitely a shorty!! (Only 5'0 tall!) ie. ('Somebody call 9-1-1 shorty fire burning on the dance floor, OH OH OH')

I think it wound be hysterical to do either the Sugerhill Gang - Apache (Jump On It) Dance or Baby Got Back by Sir Mix ALot.

hmm this is a tough one because we probably arent doing a slow dance to begin with.

We'd probably do something super cheesy from the 70s like 'Do you wanna funk' by Sylvester haha (i admit though, I love dancing at weddings to that song!)

I don't think I would have ever done that. But we did a beautiful choreographed dance and I think I would have been afraid to take away from that and all our hard work.

So we didn't rock the reception but we did rock out at the reception to Bon Jovi's Living on the Prayer and they are some of my favorite pro pics. In one I am literally singing into my fist. I wish I had my proofs electronically I would show you. They are hilarious.

Hmmmmm I definitley thought about doing this but I don't know what we would have danced to! Maybe something super cheesy from the 80's or 90's like Bust A Move by Young MC

That was our plan, to slow dance and cut into a swing dance but we decided against it. We were probably going to cut into Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

OMG, I keep saying over and over again I want to walk to recreate the Little Miss Sunshine 'Superfreak' routine. I am NOT even joking. FH I think is a little terrified I might actually do it too. I think it would be absolutely hysterical, even if only a few people get the joke.

Since DH would never ever do this... I would have to make the song selection.... And it would be Two of Hearts. LOL! I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove that song... And I always dance around when I hear it.... ala Party Monster... I made the DJ play it at the RH and its like the one song I got to dance to other then our 1st dance hehe
