Friday QOTD

The other day someone mentioned that studies show that if at age 3 you know what you want to be when you grow up, then you will most likely end up doing that. Well I'm not so sure if I think thats true. My sister thought she would be an icecream truck driver she ended up majoring in science. My son at 2 wanted to be a dinosaur man, he now at age 7 wants to open a huge zoo,amusent park drive in movie in his backyard lol. So todays question is what did you want to be when you were a kid? what is your career or major now?

My answer: growing up I wanted to be a vet or work in a zoo or be a teacher. I am currently a teacher in an imfant room at a daycare going to school for medical biling and
C oding. I was going to go to a school in cali before I found out I was pregnant at 19 for zoologist. My plans changed very much since hsving my kids. They are all worth it though.

Growing up I wanted to be a writer. Now, I'm a Literacy teacher. Not too far off! Plus it's still my secret dream to be a published author.

i wanted to be a singer and an attorney not at the same time tho i am a paralegal..didnt want to continue going to school i got lazy

Hmm growing up I wanted to be a doctor or lawyer and ended up in HR, I guess I see the relation...LOL

I wanted to be a writer/ proofreader, editor, etc...I have the degree, now I just need the job!

When I was younger I wanted to be a Lawyer or Judge...
I didnt ffollow thru

I am in the mental health/substance abuse field

I always wanted to be a teacher. I am certified to do so, but I am an administrative assistant at the moment.

I always as a kid wanted to be a commercial airline pilot.

Now part time I am a certified flight instructor out of Farmingdale airport. Full time I work as a manager for an aviation company that provides communications for the FAA for flights that go to Europe and down the Carribean.

I wanted to be a pediatrician for as long as I can remember. Now I have PhD in genetics and do research, so I guess I stayed in the medical field

I wanted to be a ballerina or an actress, ,,,,I'm in law enforcement now so I guess thats kind of acting.

When i was a kid i wanted to be the first female president...yes i was a nerd and still am lol

now i have a BA in Business Management and markting and going back to school for nursing with no poltical goals in site

When i was 3 i prolly wanted to be a teenage mutant ninja turtle!

when i was a kid i wanted to be an optometrist because i have worn glasses since i was 2 years old and always admired my eye doctor

then in 5th grade i wanted to be a cardiologist because i had just done a project about the heart

and then in 7th grade i decided i wanted to be a lawyer, and that's been the goal ever since

went to law school, passed the bar, now just waiting on bar admission

Hmmm...What didn't I want to be? lol...Doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc. I wanted it all. When I was in my senior year of high school, I started liking the idea of advertising. I got my BA in Marketing Management w/ a concentration in advertising, and I'm now a senior project manager working in digital advertising/website design.
