Friday wedding girls

How many people came to your ceremony? I'm just curious, since I'm getting married at 3:30 on a Friday and I'm wondering how many people will be at the church. I know a lot of people won't want to take off work...and that's fine with me! Being in front of all of these people at the church is already giving me anxiety, as nice as it is for people to come.

PS...I'm in freak-out mode

obviously not married yet, but i figure outside of immediate family and bridal party, and people from out of town, most other people won't be taking off to come to my ceremony.

we made ours 5pm on a friday so that people could 'leave work early' to come if they wanted to, but most of our guests live/work in the city and the ceremony is in east northport

oh well, i wouldn't stress too much about it love! we're getting close though!

I have the same question AND I have similar anxiety! The idea of everyone staring at me as I walk down the aisle makes me want to vomit!!!!

I am wondering the same thing as well. My ceremony isn't until 6:30pm (though I listed 6:15pm on the invite), but factoring in traffic and train, etc. issues, it may just be close family that's there in time. So be it .

Our invites say 6 pm but that's hospitality- (no one knows that) our ceremony starts at 6:30 AT the hall.

So I'm hoping people show up for it.


Just know that your friends and family who LOVE you and want to see you get married will be there-
and all the fancy people who need to look amazing will have that whole day off anyway!

I recently got married (8/12). We had 220 at the reception, and at the church had over 120 people. So more than half!! When I walked into the church with my parents, I almost fell over!

My church was at 4pm and my reception was at 7pm. Plus a little far apart. The church was in Glen Cove and the reception was in Babylon.
