****Friday's QOTD :o)****

Morning Girlies!!

What is the rudest thing you've heard in all your wedding planning so far? I know that some of us are closer to the big day than others, but I don't think it's uncommon to have heard something rude, presumptuous, thoughtless... I'd like to use today's QOTD so we can all vent just a little bit!

ETA: i forgot to say: then when we're all done, we can print it out and burn it and let all the crap go :o) common, i have to end it on a positive note!


my answer:

wow, it's a tough call considering i've hear SO MUCH rude, thoughtless crap... but i think the rudest, most inconsiderate and thoughtless crap i've heard to date is....

some lady at work: 'when's your wedding again?'
me: 'june 26th!! it's coming so fast! i can't wait!!'
stupid lady: 'yeah that's fast. let's hope your marriage lasts after all the hard work.'
me: ...nothing, mouth dropped open, turn and walk away... grumbling...

I heard - 'Your wedding is soooo early, thats going to inconvenience alot of people you know'

I was like its not that early.....and the people that want to be there for me will and those that feel its inconvenient will not come!!!

'your wedding is on a sunday night? how selfish'

WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

When me and FH found an amazing apt...

FMIL to my FH with me standing right there ' If it doesnt work out you know you have a place in my home'

WHAT??!! IT WILL WORK OUT DONT YOU WORRY!!! JEEZE!

Nana- Engagements are meant to be broken

Coworkers- You need to watch what you eat, you need to fit in to a dress soon

BM- (When I told her I got engaged, and she didn't even say congrats...) I don't believe in weddings, they're such a waste of money for just one day. So how big is the rock.

coworkers, friends, family ' 10 grromsman and 10 bridesmaid is there anyone not in the wedding party '

'why so many people in the wedding party?'

'20 people is going to look so tacky!!!

ahhhhhh makes me so sad go talk crap in privacy what am i supposed to say to this ??? it makes me so sad

everyone says do what you want its your day but then they say mean things i dont get it ...i have never ever said a mean/neg thing to a bride

While in the waiting room of the hospital waiting to hear the status on my aunt who just had a massive stroke.....

My Great Aunt to Me ( while I am in TEARS) .... 'did you invite Joanne ( her daughter who I barely know ) to the wedding?'

UM NO B***H I didnt and this is NOT the time to ask!!!!!!

The Cook at Work: 'No i wont make that for you for lunch, you need to lose weight for your wedding.'

all i wanted was some nachos and cheese!!!!!!!!!

A co-worker (male) 'Lets hope you dont do what most women do and let yourself go after the wedding.....'

My mom keeps telling me that I'm 'inconveniencing everyone with (my) wedding' yet she hasn't done one single thing for it so I have no idea how she has been inconvenienced.
