Friend in NEED!!!

A very close friend of mine just found out she has to move out of her illegal apartment. Her and Hubby have lived there for 3 years to top it off she is 8 months pregnant.
Well recently her landlord had a huge falling out with the neighbor and the nasty neighbor went and called the town about the illegal apartment. So the landlord just got notice about the complaint and did some research regarding what it will cost to have this apartment legal. Needless to say it will be way too much for both the landlord and my friend to afford. Her landlord was very sympathic about the issue but that still leaves my friend having to look for a new place being 8 months pregnant. They are great tenants .....never had any complaints...

Her hubby is in school and will not be finished for another year. Right now she is working but will not be after the baby is born. Hubby does not make alot but they have been able to afford $900 a month and can go up to $1000..

If anyone has any leads on apartments please let me know... She lives in West Islip now but is open to moving east or west.

My mil has an apt. that will be available next month. I think it is in that price range and really big and nice 2 bdr.
But it is in queens so I don't think that helps
