Friends Booked Crest Hollow

Ok girls my FH's best friend is getting married and they just booked Crest Hollow. FH asked me about it since he is the best man and I am trying to convince his friend's FW to come on these boards.
So maybe if I give them a little info from you girls I can convince her to come over here and check us out.
So....what can you tell me about it - their wedding will be in Nov of 2004. What is it like, who are the recommended vendors - are any of them recommended or should I steer them completely away - I already told them that the house vendor might be more expensive etc.

We booked the Crest Hollow for July 2004!! We've been to other affairs there and have had a great time. I have heard nothing but good things about the place. When she booked they should have given her a list of recommend vendors but if she didn't get it I'll post it for you. I don't think I'm using any of them though so I can't recommend any of them

see I talk to her FH so he asked if I knew anything about any of them - I figured that I could try to steer them in the right direction and away from anyone who might take advantage of them.

My brother got married there in August of last year. He used a lot of the same vendors as I did (see my profile). Not sure which were the house vendors. I know Fine Art and Flowers By Brian are (loved both of them). He had a big problem with his band (not sure if it was a house band).

His wedding was wonderful. Food and decor, grounds, lovely! He had few complaints about the hall. The biggest complaint about CHCC was they did not serve brand name alcohol...even though it was in their contract. They didn't have Absolut, Bailey sor even Bacardi to name a few of the standards. This upset him.

I'm getting married at the Crest Hollow in MAy. I didn't use any of their house vendors, but I know Pedestals and Flowers by Brian are their house florists. I remember when I first got engaged and booked my hall, I would get phone calls non stop from vendors. It seemed like everyone was their house vendor.

I am getting married at the CHCC this Oct. and I am using all house vendors, for the fact the first vendor that we picked for a photograher was Marc fron Videomaker ( And I am sure you know about him) so after all of that we decided to only use house vendors for the fact that CHCC would not recomend a vendor that would skip town.

I'm getting married there this November. I am only using a house florist- not sure which one yet but their recc's where Florissima, Flowers by Brian, James Cress, Pedestals, Simply Elegant, Spitz & Peck and Mormile.

(I have the list in front of me- I didn't memorize this!)

Music - Cezzam, Double G, Tne Entertainment Group, Ric Mango, Larry Bassen, LI Paramount, NY's Ultimate ENtertainemtn, EJ the DJ, Tony Alvarez and Body Heat.

For photo: B rett M atthews, Cassarino, Creative Compositions, Fine Art, North Shore and Patken.
