friend's bridal shower

To make a long story short one of my very good friends is getting married next year. I'm in the BP and her MOH ((who I don't know all that well))emailed me that she had booked her shower at Cascarino's in college point. I live in Whitestone and there's a Cascarino's which is just a basic pizza place. Has anyone been to the one in college point or heard of having a shower here??? Do they even have a party room?? I don't want to seem offend the MOH by questioning her choice but I'm concerned that this isn't going to be a nice shower. I don't want it to look cheap and most importantly I don't want the bride to be upset. Thoughts/opinions????

I think the college point one is more of a restaurant, Im not sure if they have a party room though. I'm trying to remember but I'm drawing a blank.

my friend threw her boyfriend's 30th birthday party there. Food is great I have only been to the one in Whitestone once. The one is Bayside can definitley hold a private party and is very nice. You can have the whole upstairs.

I just looked at the website. It looks like the one in Bayside. The upstairs has a really nice bar and full dining room. I would recommend having it there.

you can call the place in college point and ask them. just make up a story that you want to have a party there.

i went to a sweet 16 there... it is nice... a simple room... the food was really good from what i remember ...i think the room is small though... like 60-70 people maybe...not 100% sure on that !

edit for this:

I think the party room is all glass on one wall which shows to the street outside so if you are expecting this to be a surprise you are going to have to drape the windows or something...
