Did anyone see the Friends finale? although the show hasn't been as good as it once was lately, I was still soooo sad to see it come to an end. For ten years it has been a part of my life (since i was 13!) and now it is just gone it is pretty depressing!

Re: Friends Finale
Ithought it was funny, 7 I liked the leavign of the keys, but I thought there should have been more closure with Joey & Phoebe.
It was like their story lines didn't mater. Did they mention Joey moving to LA? Did I miss that?
Since Rachel didn't go to Paris, the end seemed almost too sad. Monica & Chandler were just moving to Westchester. ( It's NOT that far!) it was more like their sadness was the actors sadness b/c the show was ending, not the characters' sadness that Monica & Chandler were moving less than an hour away.

Re: Friends Finale
I thought the finale was very predictable and a good sign that the show was ready to close but all in all, I think Friends is/was a great show which deserves all the awards/accolades it received over the years.
P.S. I'm glad ross & rachel ended up together.

Re: Friends Finale
Overall I thought it was a good finale, though a bit predictable....I thought it was a great way to go out. I liked that they didnt have a wedding or anything like that...Ross and Rachel getting together was awesome because they were meant to be, but in the end it was saying goodbye to that cool rent controlled apt, but more their lives in the city all together. Even though they werent moving far, it symbolized an end of an era, that stage of life where your friends are your family in your 20s and you are struggling with work, careers and romances.... Now they are all moving on with babies, and marriages, - essentially they are growing up - moving to the next stage of life. I cried when they left the keys to the apt and closed the door at the end...I thought that was very poignant.
I totally related to this show, it started the same yr I graduated college and I began working in the city.....then I moved to Hoboken with college friends...we lived in the same bldg like Friends and I even married one of em! We used to watch it together...Our group calls us Monica & Chandler! So, for me this show was really great and I'm sad to see it go because I too, feel old....but we always have the reruns on Ch. 11!!

Im so mushy. I actually started to cry when Joey and Chandler hugged each other after the got the chicks out. I really do hope Joey's show works out. I admire his real life situation, which is why I wish him the very best.

I thought the finale was really good. I was a little upset with the clip show though. I thought there was so many other clips that could of put in that they didnt put in. How come they didnt mention Ugly Naked Guy, or Janice....at all. I was surprised. Where is Ross's son, ex wife, daughter, Pheobes brother and the kids she had.....for him. I think they should of said something about them....That is what I didnt like about the end of Friends...Other than that, I thought the Season Finale was really good. I thought Rachel was in the kitchen, but I am glad she was at the door. Rachel is Ross's Lobster.

Re: Friends Finale
I wasn't too impressed. Phoebe was hardly in it and it was pretty predictable that Rachel & Ross would get together(although nice). It just didn't seem like a fitting ending. I would have liked to have seen more of Ross and rachel together instead of waiting till the last minute for them to be together.

Re: Friends Finale
Ya know at first I wondered where all of those ancillary characters were and even Ross and Rachel's parents and Emma and everyone else over the yrs, but other than Gunther, they kept it to the 6 'Friends', the heart of the show, because thats what the series was about....

Me too....I got chills when that song was on for some reason. I was thinking that would make a great song for the last song at our wedding.

Re: Friends Finale
I thought it was good. I hated the Seinfeld one too, so ever since then, I always think finales will be disappointed, but it was alright.
It is sad though. This show started I think when I was in 7th grade. It's so weird for it to not be on Thursday nights anymore.

I knew Rachel would not go to Paris...It was really funny last night. I can't believe ross said 'unless we're on a break' when he and rachel were saying that they won't screw up again this time. LOL LOL LOL

Yeah that was funny when he said it...I cannot believe that he was cracking jokes....Like When Chandler was saying which do you think hurts more? Being kicked in the nuts or having a baby....It is so funny how he blabbers when he is so nervous. She would of been a perfect hook up for Joey.

Re: Friends Finale
I LOVED IT!!! I wasn't a huge Rachel/Ross fan. But, at the end of the show I was glad they were together. MY 1 complaint- Maybe it's my 'parental thinking' but, since Emma was supposed to move to Paris wouldn't Ross want to spend time w/ her????????????
I LOVED the recap show!! Laughed my arse off with the PIVOT!!! But, the funniest had to be the scene where Joey tells Ross to punch him in the face & Joey ducks. I was ROTFLMAO!!!!

Re: Friends Finale
i loved the RECAP show. the finale was ok, not the greatest but it ended how it started- simple nothing too dramatic... i loved the phoebe and the filangee part. I could not stop laughing my head off!! and the twin surprise was nice. It was sad at the end. the apt empty and the keys all on the counter... As Rachel said it so perfectly, Au VOiRR!!! now i have to start buying the DVDS!!

Re: Friends Finale
It was great that it had a happy ending. I knew Ross and Rachel would end up together but I didn't realize there would be the twist of them revealing their feelings in the apartment. I thought Ross would have made it to the airport. I love how the guy overheard Phoebe's comment about the plane not being safe because it has no phlanges. Is that a real word? That was cool that Monica and Chandler have twins.. .
I hope Joey is good too!
I also wanted more of a storyline for Phoebe. I felt everyone else had a bigger part and a bigger ending in the finale. Also I wish the parents and some other characters were in the finale too!
