'Friends' question

Re: 'Friends' question

I think that if she can't understand that you have other priorities right now then maybe you guys arent as close as you think. You two should talk it out and see if you can come to some kind of resolution if not then maybe its best to go your separate ways.

Hmmmm this is a really tough situation, because I can sort of see both sides.

I have a friend who is always busy and I see her maybe once a year. I try to accommodate her schedule, yet she is just magically never free. It really bothers me, because I am crazy busy too (or at least was with the wedding) and I still always made time for my friends because that is important to me.

However, on the other hand, I do understand that people are busy and your situation is only two months--not a whole year.

I think that you probably do not see eye to eye on the friendship. My opinion is that it would be best to just let the friendship either develop or unravel naturally. If you see each other and chat and make plans, then great. If not, just let it go. If you really feel though that you need this friend in your life, make a concentrated effort to talk to her and to see her soon.
