Friends question from a non-Friends watcher

Didn't Rachel have a baby at one time? I thought so b/c my friend was having a baby and at the time everyone was naming their daughter Emma, a name she liked but was then on Friends and got way out of control in its popularity.

Where was the baby last night? I saw the last 20 minutes but no baby.

She said that she brought the baby to her mom's house because she was suppose to be leaving for Paris and her mom was suppose to bring Emma to Paris on Sunday.

Yeah, I thought Ross would have made a bigger deal about his daughter being taken to another country instead of whining about how much he loved rachel.

The pink 'E' in Joey's apartment was still there though.

Yeah really I was waiting for Ross to mention his daughter's name. But he didn't not even once.

Rachel does have a baby. Unfortunately, the baby was used more as a prop than an actual child. That always irritated me about the show!! It also bothered me that Ross barely mentioned not being able to see his child if
Rachel moved to Paris. You would think he would miss Emma the most. Oh well.

OK I know its just a show but also...you'd think they'd have him spending the few days with Emma before the mother takes her to Paris....oh its just a show, what am I even saying???

You guys are right - its weird then that they didn't even talk about the baby. ***?

I totally agree with all of you about the whole 'Ross/Emma' situation. However, what made me laugh even harder was that Chandler and Monica brought home their twins five minutes after they were born! I know that hospital stays are shorter these days, but come on!!
