Because I'm a glutton for punishment?? Haha ... I'm in the car business, and month end is a VERY busy time at work. I don't really have anyone to cover my job to the point where I won't be bombarded when I get back.

it's you're choice...but it's ONE DAY!!!! and it's your wedding. I could understand if somehow an hour or two of work would take your mind away from stress, and help your anxiety because you're just removing yourself from things temporarily.

I know, I'm already being threatened by the girls at my job! I just don't want to go back to work and be miserable because of the workload. I want to come back and be happy that I'm a newlywed, you know?

Joking aside, so far only one friend I thought was a good friend did this. She's probably known for a year when the date was because I told her and I did send her a save the date. She said she doesn't have seniority with taking days off or something. It definitely does affect how I view our friendship.
