Girls that have done the Fri/Sat PreCana in Douglaston...did they let you out early? I think it is supposed to end at 5. We are going this weekend Thanks!!

We did it last summer, got out around 3pm but it will depend on your host couple.

I did it there in February. Friday evening a teeny bit early but on the Saturday our host couple let us out and 1 1/2 early which was awesome since I foudn Pre-Cana to be beyond boring.

we did ours at Douglaston last weekend- we got out by 3 on Saturday (in the morning they said 4, but said it could be earlier if we got through the exercises quickly). I hope you have Carlos & Ana- they were such a joy!!

We got out early on both days. I liked our host couple. They were funny but really honest about their lives. We liked it. Hope you have a great experience!!!

We did ours there a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was actually not too excited to get married in the catholice church (it's something my mom was pushing) and the pre cana totally changed my mind. The only bad part was the couple (who were really really nice) did not speak english that well. My FH jokingly asked me I cheaped out and took that specific pre cana b/c it was less expensive to have non-english speakers! It was ok though you just had to concentrate hard on understanding. They let us out a half hour early on Friday night and two hours early on Saturday. have fun
