Interesting question from 2010 Board..
For us, we have no problems what so ever! we both have sooooooooooo many friends, and my life didn't end becuase i had a BF or engaged We also live together, so I like being home alone at times, or going out with my friends. So we go out alot without eachother- him prob a little more, becuase he has baseball, poker, sports to watch and those are more frequent...I mainly do things like Movie nights, game nights, concerts, plays with the girls...There are things FH doesnt like, so i rather do them with people that do... i do go to bars, clubs with them, just not as often (thankfully the ones that do have FH, DH & Children, also still hang out with friends, so as of yet, no problems).. FH doesnt mind, he actually encourages me , if im tired and all my friends are doing something...
What is everyone else situation?

For the most part FH and I spend most of our time out together. We have one big group of friends and we all do things as a group. But FH and I have no problem with the other going out alone. For example, FH is in a summer bowling league with his friends. He goes out with them and usually for a couple of drinks every thursday night. I have no problem with it. I like the alone time. Same with FH if I make plans with a girl friend. Sometimes it's nice to have some YOU time.

he doesn't really have a problem when i go out w/ my friends (except for 2 people b/c he knows that i always get wasted w/ them, so he worries that something bad will happen to me).
As for him and his friends, I know and he knows himself that his friends are idiots (he admits it), so sometimes i worry that he's going to do something idiotic that will get him in trouble. but it's gotten better over the years. i'm not so worried anymore b/c I realize that even if they do stupid stuff, they can barely stay up and are usually passed out early

I don't have a problem at all if FH goes out with his guy friends and in fact I encourage it since I do like be home alone once in a while. He RAREEEELYY does though. He always invites me and on certain occasions I said no since I felt like his friends would appreciate a break from me
I have dinners with my friends all the time without FH. I will usually invite him if we're going to a bar afterwards though since most of my gf's have Bf's and it's not like we are going hog wild girls nights.
I think if either of us were always clubbing or going to bars without the other, it'd be a problem.

FH doesn't really have many friends but if he wants us to go out with them we do. I will go to dinner with just the girls. FH doesnt really go out unless Im with him because usually I'm the one saying we have this to go to.

FH and I go out a lot together. He is always telling me to go out with the girls and go dancing or something. Honestly, every once and a while my friends and I will have a girls night but most of the time I want to hang out with FH also which works out perfect because we really have the same group of friends.

depends who it is. he hates being alone so god forbid I should go out when he has nothing to do. meanwhile I love being alone.
in the past he's thrown a fit but afterwards we had a huge blow out fight and he backed off about it.
im always with the goober so when Im not it's a nice break.
