Hi 06ers! Need some feedback-
I have to talk to my boss about vacation time and I have NO IDEA realistically how much time I will need to take off...
We are planning on having a 2 week HM, so that's self explanitory. But how much time do I ACTUALLY need to take off prior to the wedding day? I'm certain that I will need atleast the day before, but how many things will I have to do last minute?
I am getting married on Friday the 13th of July

It depends on how organized you are. I got married on a friday and only worked the monday of that week. I was originally going to work until the wed. before but was worried I wouldn't get everything done in time

There was NO way that I was getting Thursday off for my Saturday wedding. In fact, my boss was rather annoyed that I took FRIDAY off.
Anyway, I had a lot of help tho, my parents did a lot of the last minute running around. They went out to the hotel on Thursday and DH and I went out Friday morning and we had our RD on Friday night. All in all, it worked out perfectly fine in the long run.
