From the 'it can only happen to me' file (funny)

We have a leaky pipe in the basement, which turns out to be for the toilet. So Joe just called me to tell me that the plumber came and told his grandmother that in order to fix it, we would have to be w/o a toilet bowl for 2-3 days!!!!!!

HELLOOOOOO!!! I laughed and said 'um, is this guy aware of the fact that I'm almost 8 mos. preggo and get up to pee every 5 minutes in the middle of the night?' and he said he'll tell me the rest when he picks me up!!!

Where am I going to pee, in a bucket???? Or the tub??? Oh the horrors of that!!! Can you imagine??

Why cant you have a toilet for 2-3 days? That sounds weird....no one can do without one, let alone a 8m preggo (I cant believe you're that far along!! )

UPDATE!!!! The plumbers are there today fixing the pipe and took the bowl out -- but HELLO, it should be fixed BEFORE I GET HOME!!! WHOO HOOO NO PEEING IN A BUCKET OR TUB OR PORTAPOTTY OR GLASS JAR!!!!

When I got in the car last night and asked Joe what's up w/the toilet, he got this stupid grin on his face and I knew he was full of sh*t!!! I asked him why he told me 2-3 days and he said because he wanted to see my reaction, he knew I would start ranting and raving, but all I did was laugh, so I took the fun out of it for him!!!

I told you, he's out of his mind!!!!!!

All I know is my bladder is extremely grateful that it's a one-day job because can you imagine what I would have done???????

As for the book writing -- if I wrote a book about the story of my life, I don't think people would believe that all these things could happen to one person in one lifetime!!!
