How do I get rid of them??? FH left out a piece of lemon and I keep seeing those bastards.

Yes, it was a quarter piece of lemon he left in a glass of water. How do they develop? I can't open doors or windows...I have cats. We in an upstairs apartment. They are so annoying and gross! I keep murdering them as I see them with my hands, but they are still around. This happened last year with plums we left out and it took forever for them to die off.

put a little wine in a glas or some type of container. They will fly right in and drown. My friend tried it and it worked.

maybe lower the heat and go away for the weekend there is no heat for them to survive and no fruit..... hey any excuse for a romantic weekend!
