FRUIT FLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLEEEECH!!

Does anyone seem to have an outbreak of fruit flies this year? I noticed a few here and there....but today I saw like dozens of them...hanging out on the edges of the walls....I do not ahve any fresh fruit or any food or water hanging out around the house....garbage is taken out almost daily..dishes were done....


I am soo skeeved by thesxe little black buggers so I took paper towels and just slammed any that I saw haning out..I think I cleared most of them out becuase when I went outside and came back in, there was like a few flyin around...but I also sprayed my Wizard freshener arouhnd EVERYWHERE....almost used the entire can...I do not ahve any type of bug spray or anything so I used that...

What do you guys do if you get them?? How long can they live for?? uuugh...I am feelng like the are all over me now....uuuugh..my hair is standing on ends!! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

This may be gross but do you have either bird food or sunflower seeds? If so, check them! Bet they are full of little dudes!

Someone once told me they breed in drains and to pour bleach down themand cover them for a bit. I did it last year and it worked.

Of course, I'm sure this is not so great for the plumbing, but we live in an apt

ewwwwww ROn...but no, we not not have sunflower seeds of birdseed I will try that tip with the Bleach...we do have that...uuugh..I am skeeved! <

They also tend to hand around plants. My aunt had a calla lily plant that was infested with them - when she brought it in to rest ---ahhhh!! ATTACK OF THE FRUIT FLIES!!

well, it turns out FH used all the bleach to wash his clothes for work, o I took some fantastic with bleach and dumped it down the drains...kitchen and bathroom and even bathtub and covered them all with plastic cups....

I then sprayed the fantastic around......uuugh...STINKY!

Ummm...How long is the lifecycle for these nasty things??
