I like the idea of adding fruit, but I don't like the vase in the first one. I went to a wedding last October and the centerpieces were cornucopias that had grapes in them and they were gorgeous!

Re: Fruit in centerpieces?
Depending on the wedding itself I like them both. First is very classic.. Roman feeling.. I think Italy Greece, grandaur. Second is fun and functional, cute and colorful
I like fruit in centerpieces. I think it's a great idea.

They're both very pretty but I love the second one. Where do you get those done? I have never seen them before.

Re: Fruit in centerpieces?
I found the 1st centerpiece on the Bride's Magazine website and the second one with the three tiered trays on the Karen Bussen website. I like the look of the three tiered trays because my reception is at Westbury Manor and I think the trays fit the decor of the place. I know that we are having those kind of trays for our dessert, I wonder if we can rent some more from them to do the centerpieces.

Re: Fruit in centerpieces?
I love fruit in centerpieces. There are more on the magnolia flowers and events site (on hudson in nyc in west village) and maybe on the stone kelly site as well. I wonder if the grape tray one is an awkward height for a centerpiece - not high enough to see through??? But I love the concept.

Re: Fruit in centerpieces?
I love the idea of fruit centerpieces. Number 2 is very elegant.
For my engagement party I had fruit cornacopias and everyone was fighting over them. It brought such a personal touch to the party.
