I was invited to a bridal shower for this Sunday. I only received the invitation last Wednesday as did others. I had to change a fitting for a wedding I'm in so that I could go. Now I am looking at the registry and there are only odds and ends left. Like placemats and a cupcake pan. What should I do?

when in doubt get a gift certificate to the place she registured with a nick-nack
hmm sounds like some invites went out ahead of time. How could all go that fast! How about getting some things for the house like nice candles, cleaning supplies, etc. There are some poems for that. Or you can make something for the honeymoon. If it's a beach honeymoon get beach bag, suntan lotionetc....
Or another idea is if they dont' live together put together a basket of kitchen essential: ketcup, mustard, salt pepper, all the starter things!

i would definitely go with a giftcard or buy her extra towels, you can never have enough towels make her a basket with towels, maybe bath gels, loofas, candles etc.
did they register their honeymoon? thats always a nice gift
No, they didn't but that is a great idea. I think I'll stick with a gift certificate and something small.
wow! thats funny you say that. we got an invite to a shower 2 days after the RSVP date! tacky huh? like we wouldnt notice we were last minute guests! p.s WE'RE NOT GOING!!!!
