Frustrated is an understatement

Frustrated is an understatement

FH has done nothing but naysay everything i suggest this whole planning process. everything is 'ehhhh' or 'its ALLRIIIIIIIIIGHT'. even today when i showed him my embroidered pants his first words were 'its a little too low' I've had him listen to tons of possible first dance songs and he seems so uninterested but yet he has no suggestions. I am so frustrated, I almost want to just stop wedding planning alltogether.

I've made so many sacrifices to my schedule and my time in regards to wedding planning, going to appointments directly before work, researching things, buying things, going to my RCIA classes, setting up meetings, ordering things...he has done none of this but constantly makes me feel like everything i've done or found is just sub par.

I'm gonna poke his effing eyes out!

Im sorry you have to go through this but I;m glad that I'm not the only person who has a FH like that. FH acts very uninterested and then when I do something he doesn't like, he tells me why didn't I ask his opinion?! HELLO everytime I talk to him about the wedding he tells me whatever you want is fine with me. Obviously not!!! I love it even more when he tells me he doesn't understand why I'm stressed out about the wedding because 'its not hard to plan one' AGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

I feel your pain. Hopefully they will appreciate all the effort we girls are doing for our special day!!!

I think your pants are cute...

Yeah, boys are annoying. I'm sorry, but sadly I have no witty advice as I head-butt my way through the same thing everyday!

well i can semi -relate. My FH has done nothing at all except book the church, RH and honeymoon, wedding bands.. its been all me & his mom. his reply to everything whenever i try to get his opionion ' i don't know, its up to you' or i get 'how much'.. however, he does know better than just to say 'its alright' ..... he always say oh wow.. really nice'

sorry you are going through this ... i swear its a man thing... you can still kill him though

All I can offer is

FH can be like that sometimes but for the most part he's been ok with all of the wedding planning.

Same here! I keep hoping that as it gets closer (isn't 43 days close enough???) he will become more interested, but sometimes it's the opposite! For example, we are meeting with our priest tomorrow morning... I've been reading through the prayer book from the minute I got home from work and noting the ones I like. What has he been doing since 8:30pm? Playing MADDEN!!!!!!

Sorry Father, we weren't able to choose our readings because my fiance couldn't put down the Xbox controller!!

Thats silly. If you poke his eyes out he will look bad in photos.

FH doesn't seem interested in somethings either. I finally suggested a song he likes (that I like too) that we can walk into the reception together and he was all about it. What if you do something like that then pick what you want for your first dance
