frustrating day!

I usually don't make a big deal of things but today I was just so frustrated. I have been looking forward to going to Burtons to look at bridesmaid dresses all week because they said they carried dresses by Watters! I made an appointment a week in advance, but it seemed that when i got there other girls were there too with the same appointment time. And I don't mean one or two others, I mean like 20!!! I could barelly move or look at any dresses with all the people that were there. On top of that they only had 2 dresses from Watters and neither of them were ones I asked to see. I felt like it was just a complete waste of a day. I really need to look at dresses by Watters because they have the color dress I want and no other designer seems to have the same color. It's tiffany blue (or turquois). Does anyone know of any other stores that carry a variety of Watters dresses.

the bridal suite in centereach have watter dresses....my BM dresses are watters and that is where I am ordering them.

I'm actually having the exact same problem!!!The bridal suite in centereach (which is where I bought my wedding gown) didn't have too many to choose from. I found out today that Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn Heights has all the styles i'm interested in. I went one by one over the phone with them and they had 6 of the 7 I want to look at! I would look into that store - that's where I'm going to end up.

Centereach bridal suite has TONS of them!! I was there today looking!

I had the same experience at Burton's. I had an appt to try on wedding dresses and there were sooo many people there and that place is so tiny. I had to ask people to move just so I can look in the mirror. I was so frustrated that I only tried on one dress and then just left.

AWWWW, I'm sorry they did that. I hate wasting valuable time. I would try somewhere else and maybe make a few appointments, in case there are any other disappointments like this.

Definitely try Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn. They have tons of Watters dresses.

bridal reflections in carle place has watters and watters as well. i found my watters wtoo bridesmaids dress there although i will prob order them through phyllis at gownfind since she has the best prices. but if youre just looking to try on def check them out. you dont need an appointment on weeknights - just weekends.

Well, if you go at the right time and people have time to help you then you'll be fine. I personally didn't think they had that big of a selection of gowns. I thought Reneta's in linderhurst had sooo much more. Of course the one designer i wanted they didn't have but if they did I would've ordered through them.

I think i'm gonna go to bridal reflections, it's right down the road from me. i've been avoiding it cause i heard it was pricey but if i can have my girls try on the dresses and order elsewhere that may work.

Priscilla of Boston has them they are very pretty ... i just took my dress there to have it preserved. Good Luck

Lillette's in Baldwin has Watters...maybe you could call ahead and see if they have a sample of the particular one you're looking for.

You may want to send Watters an email to find out who carries thier line. Bridal stores will say anything to get you in there and try to get your business. Sorry you were disappointed!
