Re: 'FSIL'
crashing.
maybe that's just her personality ... some people just aren't initiators. One of my friends NEVER calls me to chat or make plans ... but if i call her, she's always very happy about it. She was my BM and i was so happy that she was there.

I knoW what you mean.. I always feel like i have to make plans with two different friends of mine or id never hear from them.. And then wen im with them im like why did i bother (they could careless or they say a jealous or stupid comment ) i gave up.. I wouldnt give up if shes could become ur family. Especially since there are no real probs .. I know how annoyin it is to be the one asking but maybe jus not ask as much and see if she mentions anything to u?

I totally understand how you get the stalker feeling. I had situations very similar situation with a friend. Its just gets frustrating always make the first and only move. Maybe she just doesn't know how to make that move, especially since it sounds like she is excited to actually go and hear all the news. If she was blowing you off I would get more worried.
Maybe she's LOL upset that she isn't getting married, and her BF hasn't taken that next step?
i wouldnt stop what your doing, maybe she will catch on and start doing it back as she feels more comfortable making taking that step

Maybe she is unsure of what she should do since she isn't officially a FSIL. I wouldn't stop what you are doing. she might be questioning herself as to what would be appropriate for her to do.

CANT SAY THAT I HAVE SIMILAR SITUATION, BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST LIKE THAT. I WOULDN'T TAKE OFFENSE IF I WERE YOU ONLY BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN LIKE THIS FROM THE BEGINNING WITH HER (AS FAR AS YOU INITIATING, ETC.)
IF IT IS BOTHERING YOU THIS MUCH, MAYBE YOU SHOULD CONFRONT HER NICELY? LIKE IN A SUBLIMINALWAY.
HOW ABOUT YOUR FBIL? CAN YOU ASK HIM OR IS HE LIKE A BLABBER MOUTH THAT WILL GO RUNNING TO TELL 'FSIL'??

Yeah, she has been like this for as long as I remember, it's not just with wedding stuff. Its just in general. But now its stressing me out a little w the wedding.

One of the brides above wrote what I was just thinking... Why don't you just talk to her about it? Sometimes I feel like when we create our own idea about thee situations, we project onto them, often making them more than they are... If she has issues then maybe she'll just tell you. I have a habit of thinking, that it may always be 'something I did, or said', when the truth of it is, im not that powerful. It may have nothing to do with you at all. Talk to her!

*I just read what you posted above. If thats the way she is it may not change, but you're only responsible for the effort, not the outcome. So, when you express how you feel, let her take it from there. And be okay and accept that she may not be capable... (Kinda like my one MOH... LOL)
