FSIL and FMIL COMBO!!! Errrrrggggg!!! (long)

I got flack for mine not being a magnet either but guess what? People use OTHER magnets to put them on their refrigerators just like the one I saw at my cousins house today in Jersey. I just happened to be looking at her fridge and saw it. We mailed them out about 2 months ago and they are still up. Show this post to you FILs!

oh my goodness, first of all sorry you have to deal with a BIOTCH of a FSIL. that doesn't sound fun.

now I'm going to tell you what my Dad has been telling me but I didn't really understand until recently. You are never going to make everyone happy, everyone always has a 'better' idea, and they will always whine and complain no matter what. so MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY. IGNORE them they are ignorant and trying to make your life hell because they are your in laws and that's what they do.

Thank you!! It does help to know that i am not totally alone in this. FH said that he was going to say something to her, but I doubt that he will rehash it. he HATES confrontation. I really thought the STDs came out nice! FH told me to forget about it because we BOTH love the way they came out and they were saved us a lot of money

I happen to like them(your STDs). We are doing magnets but I like them it doesnt mean I expect everyone to think that's the right thing to do. I also have had inlaw problems and know that even though your told to ignore it you cant. Just keep venting but I'll give you one piece of advice if there is anyway at all your FSIL or FMIL know about LIW watch what you post and possibly erase once you've vented because their are sneaky people out there I know first hand and they found out through something I had laying around. Is your FSIL married because maybe she's just jealous that she has nothing to plan for.

Ok so FMIL has been giving us a hard time about a lot of different issues surrounding the wedding. I have lots to say about that, but we'd be here all night reading...so on the FSIL!!

Tonight I went to FHs house to watch a movie with him. FH asked FMIL if she had to Michael's coupon because we need it to get the invitation kit of the STDs. FSIL says 'why do you need an invitation kit' ....I explain what we are doing for the STDs..she says 'why arent you doing a magnet like 'Lisa' (cousin--I changed the name)?' I said, 'We didnt want to because everyone does them and we didnt want to spend the money on getting them done.' She says 'well, whats wrong with what Lisa did???' Then she starts whispering stuff about me to her dad (FFIL). I bit my tongue. Then she starts asking more questions about the STDs and I explain again...she says 'so what, are people supposed to hold on to the piece of paper for a year or something??'...I got SO upset..I worked really hard on my STDs and I think they are cute...so I secretly started crying and walked away.. FH was so pissed at her.. I dont know how I am supposed to handle her!!! Or FMIL for that matter!!! ERRRGG!!!!

I'm having a Sunday evening wedding, on a holiday weekend with out of town guests, and all I did for STD was send out an email. Be proud of your DIY STD they are beautiful
